| |  |  |  |  |  | Often the psoriasis on the genitals is of the "inverse" or "flexural" variety, which doesn't have scale and usually isn't thick like plaque lesions -- it just looks like patches of red on otherwise normal skin. But it itches for lots of people and, in my case, when I relent and scratch it burns like hell. If any topical steroids at all are recommended, they are usually the most mild -- hydrocortizone 1% or less, for example.... more
