Bio: I've had psoriasis since I was 5. Initially it was just plaque but I now mainly suffer from guttate (since starting smoking age 15 which I obviously regret and no longer smoke). I have tried the following alternative methods: Chinese herbs, osteopathy, homeopathy, naturopathy, cranio sacral therapy, various diets including the Dr Pagano diet, in desperate moments bought pills from the net that don't work, and I am currently undergoing Ayurvedic treatment (started in Jan 08). Obviously as for most, I just try and get in a private place in the sun as often as I can, which is not that often living in the UK! But 2 holidays a year means things aren't so bad usually. Anyone is welcome to contact me to ask about my experiences with above treatments, or to recommend any to me.

I've done the Pagano diet, twice. Found it definitely worked first time, psoriasis (guttate and plaque) cleared up within about 2-3 months I think. The second time though it did not work as completely as the first time, probably because I didn't stick to it as strictly, it's a hard diet to do in winter in the UK as it doesn't provide that much 'energy/fuel' food and I was cold all the time.
beasely, I've noticed the same...
