I don't eat banana's but when my dad does and I'm around, he gives me the peel and I go into the bathroom and rub the inside of the peel on my knees and my elbows especially and anywhere else where I have outbreaks of psoriasis. I stink, my clothes stick in the areas applied, but my skin clears up alittle.
My daughter has suggested that I purree bananas and make a shampoo to go along with my lotion.
I imagine if I did and if I also
drank alot of water and somehow elimate all the stress I manage to handle
and
Get sun protected with sunscreen and wash in luke warm water
that I would be completely clear.

BUT then again, I am FAT to say the least
and I have little time to fit routines in my life...
I know what my problems are,

I just thought that perhaps
offering things that worked for me
that perhaps I
could help someone
who takes time out to better themself

peace

bananas? really? I never heard of that. I do ok with fresh apple juice (from my juicer not bought from a store) when I drink alot of it (3 glasses a day or so). But I never heard of bananas. Thats interesting. And certainly worth a try.

Do you notice psoriasis being worse with weight gain? I could lose a few pounds (ok, more than a few) myself. Im wondering how uch weight contributes.

I have gained too much extra weight lately
but I have not really noticed any additional
psoriasis
mine all go along with my stress-level
if I'm stressfree I'm psoriasis-free
and if I'm stressful than I'm plagued

it sucks too
b/c I live a stressful life to say the least
being a single parent
with 22,21&15 year olds

Yeah, for apple juice help. Dont get me wrong, it doesnt make the patches smaller or anything, but the scalyness and itchness is considerably better. But its fresh apple juice, not store bought. Not sure if there is anything to it or if its just that it is a healthy drink in general.

I like apple juice and find that it helps. It's actually part of a shake that I make that clears my Psoriasis. To learn more check out my web site and see how I was able to clear myslelf in 60 days with diet alone (not selling anything). www.howtobeatpsoriasis.com hope this helps. Charles

When you dress, do you go out of your way to hide your psoriasis?
Always, because everyone stares.
I don't have to. It is only in hidden areas.
It depends on who I'm with and where I am.
No. I've learned to live with it.
No. It never mattered to me that much.
